Terms and risks
Please read this before you use Curvetap. By using the website or the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Curvetap.
1. What Curvetap is
Curvetap is a software interface that reads public data from the Solana blockchain and helps you build transactions for Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve (DBC) pools. Curvetap is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Meteora, or by the creators of any token you can see or trade through it.
2. Non-custodial
Curvetap never holds your funds or your private keys. Every transaction is shown in your own wallet and only goes ahead if you sign it. Transactions on Solana are final: once confirmed they cannot be reversed by Curvetap or anyone else. You are responsible for your wallet, your keys and every transaction you sign.
The one exception is a wallet you choose to create yourself: the browser extension's optional automation wallet (section 6). It is created and stored only in your browser, encrypted with your passphrase, and Curvetap never receives it.
3. Risks
- Tokens on bonding curves are highly speculative and volatile. Most lose most or all of their value. Only use money you can afford to lose.
- Anyone can create a token. Names, logos and links can imitate other projects. Always check the token address (CA).
- Pool fees, including anti-sniper fees that start high and fall over time, are set by each token's DBC configuration, not by Curvetap. Prices can move between the quote and the moment your transaction lands; your slippage limit caps how much.
- "Risk shields" are automated on-chain signals. They can be incomplete or wrong and are not a guarantee that a token is safe.
- The Solana network, RPC providers, wallets, Meteora's programs and other third-party services can fail, be congested, or contain bugs.
4. No advice
Nothing on Curvetap is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any token. Do your own research.
5. Fees
You pay the Solana network fee and the fees of the pool you trade in. On swaps routed by Jupiter, Jupiter's own fee also applies; it is shown before you swap. Curvetap does not add a fee on top. Curvetap may receive a referral share of Meteora's protocol fee on curve trades it routes; this comes out of the protocol's share and does not change what you pay. On tokens launched with the Curvetap curve, Curvetap receives part of the pool's trading fees, as described in section 7.
6. Curve orders and the automation wallet
- Orders are kept on your device. In the web app they are checked only while Curvetap is open in a browser tab; in the extension, while your browser is running. They are not checked anywhere else.
- An order is a condition you set, not a guarantee. It can fill late, at a different curve level or price than its trigger (your slippage limit still applies), or not at all, for example when the network or an RPC provider is slow, the curve moves fast, the pool graduates first, or your balance is too low.
- In approve mode nothing is sent until you sign the trade in your wallet.
- The automation wallet is a hot wallet in your browser. It signs orders on its own within the per-order and daily limits you set, which are enforced by the extension on your device. Anyone or anything with access to your unlocked browser session could use it. Keep only a small balance in it. If you lose your passphrase and have not exported the key, Curvetap cannot recover the wallet or its funds.
7. Launching tokens
- When you launch a token you are its creator. You are responsible for its name, ticker, image, description and links: you must have the rights to them, and they must not be misleading, impersonate anyone or break the law.
- A launch is permanent. The token, its metadata and its curve cannot be changed or undone by you or by Curvetap. Images and metadata uploaded through Curvetap are published on IPFS, where they are public and may stay available even if Curvetap stops serving them. Curvetap may refuse uploads, or stop serving uploads that are unlawful or abusive.
- The Curvetap curve. Pools launched with the Curvetap config pay part of their trading fees to Curvetap. Meteora keeps 20% of every trading fee; the remaining 80% is split evenly, so the creator receives 40% and Curvetap 40% of each trading fee. After graduation the permanently locked liquidity position is split the same way, half to the creator and half to Curvetap, and each side earns its half of that pool's fees. The curve sets no tokens aside for Curvetap or anyone else; rounding can leave a dust amount of under 1,000 tokens, which goes to the config's leftover receiver.
- Your own config. You own the config and receive all of the trading fees after Meteora's share. Curvetap receives nothing from it.
- An existing config. Its owner set its terms, not Curvetap. Curvetap shows the terms it reads from the chain, but cannot change them or guarantee that reading is complete.
- Creator fees build up in the pool and must be claimed with your wallet. Claims cost a network fee.
8. Your responsibilities
You must be legally able to use these services where you live. Do not use Curvetap where doing so is prohibited, or if you are subject to sanctions. You are responsible for any taxes on your trades.
9. Third-party services
Curvetap relies on services it does not control, including Meteora's on-chain programs, Solana RPC providers, wallet apps, DexScreener charts, Jupiter prices and routing, and Pinata and IPFS for token metadata. Their terms apply to your use of them.
10. No warranty and limitation of liability
Curvetap is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Curvetap team is not liable for any loss, including lost funds, lost profits, or losses caused by bugs, network failures, price movements, orders that fill late or not at all, the automation wallet, tokens you trade, or tokens you launch.
11. Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Curvetap after a change means you accept the new terms.
